Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address, and if you sign in with Google or Discord, your name or username and avatar from that account.
• Your journal: trades, notes, checklist answers, reflections, commitments, calendar days and chart images you add.
• Billing: your plan and Stripe customer id. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Support: messages you send us through Talk to us.
• Basic usage and security logs: which features are used (counts, not your content), request logs and error reports, kept to run and protect the service.

Only to run IFVG for you: store and show your journal, fill in your checklist from your quick logs, send the emails you opted into (welcome, streak reminder, Sunday recap; never your P&L), process payments, answer support, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads.

These providers process data on our behalf, only to provide their service:

• Supabase: sign-in, database and file storage.
• Cloudflare: hosting, and encrypted nightly backups.
• Stripe: payments.
• Resend: sending email.
• DeepSeek: the language model behind quick logs. Only the text you type or say in a quick log (and a short summary of your newest trade, so follow-ups work) is sent. Chart images are never sent.
• Google: if you choose Google sign-in.
• Discord: if you choose Discord sign-in.

Some providers process data outside your country. We rely on their contractual safeguards for those transfers.

Nothing in your journal is public. It is only seen by others when you share it: a share card you post, or a private mentor link (Plus) that covers the days you choose, expires on the date you choose, and only opens for people who are signed in. You can turn a link off anytime in Me → Mentor view.

We keep your journal while your account is open. When you delete your account, your journal is deleted; copies in backups are overwritten within about 30 days. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires.

You can see and edit your data in the app, export all of it anytime from Me → Backup, and delete your account from Me → Account. You can also ask us to access, correct, delete or stop processing your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to contact@ifvg.app. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Brazil's LGPD) you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Data is encrypted in transit, journals are protected so only you can read them, and admin access is limited. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at contact@ifvg.app if you find a problem.

IFVG is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
